June Birding Festivals

Birders attending the Woodpecker Festival in Oregon will be excited to view a Red-breasted Sapsucker among 11 potential woodpecker species (photo by Ron Wolf).

June brings a variety of birding festivals to learn more about the birds in areas across the continent from Oregon to Maine, giving participants chances to get into the field with local guides to assist you, and to learn from knowledgeable speakers and others who make each birding festival unique and enjoyable. June birding festivals highlight woodpeckers, warblers, raptors, seabirds, and a broad variety of birds from coast to coast as birders gather for a mix of social opportunities, including social birding walks and field trips.
