Endangered Species Day is Saturday

Formerly endangered, Peregrine Falcon populations have prospered as the result of the focused actions to protect and improve conditions for endangered species. Participate in the online activities of Endangered Species Day May 16th and beyond.

Saturday May 16 is Endangered Species Day, and like many events this spring, much of the 2020 program is being coordinated online, but that means there is a wealth of information anyone can read, use, and share with your favorite groups of people. There is also suggested reading, a film library, an Endangered Species Youth Art Contest, Activities for College Students, and the Endangered Species Education Program for teachers and students that provides a wealth of information and internet links.

Most important, there’s a great list of 10 Easy Things You Can Do to Save Endangered Species, which you can review at https://www.endangered.org/10-easy-things-you-can-do-to-save-endangered-species/

You don’t need to wait until Saturday to visit the Endangered Species Day website, and you can check back anytime throughout the year for more information and inspiration at https://www.endangered.org/campaigns/endangered-species-day/
