November Birding Festivals

While Sandhill Cranes are the focus of 2 November birding festivals, eagles, swans, bluebirds, waterfowl, raptors, and border area birds are also featured festival species (photo by Paul Konrad).

As migrating birds press farther south each week, November features a variety of birding festivals from California to Virginia and Minnesota to Texas – plus Alaska! Birding Festivals give participants chances to get into the field with local guides to assist you, and to learn from knowledgeable speakers and others who make each birding festival unique and exciting. Share your interest in birds and birding with others who gather together for a mix of birding walks and field trips, social opportunities, children’s activities, workshops, product shows, and much more.
