Virtual Southeast Arizona Birding Festival

Southeast Arizona birding is legendary, with such exciting species as a Red-faced Warbler (photo by Tom Vezo) and a Montezuma Quail (photo by Frank Retes). This year you can attend online via Zoom.

The Tucson Audubon Society will hold the Southeast Arizona Birding Festival as seven virtual events starting today, August 5, through Friday August 7, using the Zoom virtual conferencing platform online. Festival events include two virtual birding tours highlighting birding and conservation, a session entitled “Learning Bird Songs” with Tom Stephenson (co-author of The Warbler Guide), a forum on “Birdability” to make birding more inclusive and accessible for mobility-challenged birders, and three fun interactive social events featuring a host of impressive speakers.
