This year’s Virtual Maryland Ornithology Society Convention will be held June 11 & 12th. It’s an opportunity for birders from across the nation and around the world to tune in to the annual convention of the MOS to hear seminars and keynote addresses and learn “Atlasing and birding in the 21st Century,” “How to make your yard better for birds and the environment,” “The year of Covid birding,” and “The only constant is change: 3 centuries of change in the state’s breeding bird communities,” and more. It’s the 73rd MOS Annual Convention, and the 1st Virtual MOS Convention, utilizing the Whova system.
