The Global Big Day created more information about birds last year than ever before during a single day – a record 7,847 different bird species were reported by birders in 203 countries around the world! Birders also shared 82,549 photographs and 4,821 audio recordings of bird songs and calls that are now available in the Macaulay Library at Cornell University. Organized by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, it's easy to participate.
