Sunday is a special day, the first day of summer, and the ultimate day for dads - Father’s Day! It’s a great time to spend some time together with your Dad, or your son, your daughter – your whole family – and this year you can make it a special day by sharing your interest in birds and birding. It could make for the best Father’s Day ever. If circumstances prevent getting together over the weekend, dedicate your birding outing to your father, who may have been instrumental in getting you interested in birds, and wish other Dads “Happy Father’s Day.” Then too, you can communicate with Dads and children via phone, text, or email to share a bit of birding excitement.
