All levels and ages of birders are welcome to join in the fun of The Great Texas Birding Classic, the premier Texas birding event during the peak of spring migration. Gather your team, register, and go birding in Texas sometime during April 15 to May 15 – it’s that simple. There’s a category for everyone from beginning birders to competitive veteran birders, and registration fees raise money for Texas bird conservation project grants. Last year’s Birding Classic was a record-breaking year with more than 1,100 participants on 187 registered teams statewide, who identified a total of 425 species of birds!
