This week, birders identified a Third State Record Trumpeter Swan at Mansfield Hollow State Park in Connecticut, along with a Fifth State Record Redwing that was documented in Vancouver, British Columbia. Aside from the record breakers, really rare birds included a Barnacle Goose photographed in a marsh adjacent to Lake Ontario near Bowmanville, Ontario, and a Berylline Hummingbird in Madera Canyon, Arizona.
