The Ohio Young Birders Conference

The Golden-winged Warbler is part of the logo for the Ohio Young Birders Club, a most impressive group that will be holding its annual conference November 11 in Columbus (photo by Ani Stinnissen).

The annual Ohio Young Birders Conference will take place November 11 at the Grange Audubon Center in Columbus, Ohio. Organized by the famous Black Swamp Bird Observatory (BSBO), registration is now open for this impressive venue for student members of the BSBO to present their experiences in a professional conference setting. For all members of the audience, students and adults, watching the youth conservation leaders deliver interesting and informative presentations is most inspiring!

This is especially true for the younger students in the audience as the conference provides an important and valuable opportunity to be informed and empowered by seeing their peers deliver their impressive presentations.? And the conference is not just for young birders – adults are encouraged to attend as well. The mission of the Ohio Young Birders Club is to encourage, educate, and empower interested students as birders and conservation leaders. All elements of this mission come together at the annual Ohio Young Birders Conference. ???
