Flamingos appear to be working their way north again, with 3 new sightings last week, including an American Flamingo photographed in Massachusetts near Cape Cod Bay, which created a First State Record. A little farther south an American Flamingo was documented in eastern Long Island in New York, and new American Flamingo was sighted in coastal Georgia. The list of Asian species being sighted on Alaska’s western islands continues to increase too – see what rare birds are being seen there, and across North America last week.
