The Kowa BD II 8x42 Wide-angle Binocular replaces the original BD42-8XD model with updated fully multi-coated lens coatings, including Kowa’s hydrophobic KR coating on the external lens surfaces to repel water and dirt. BD II roof prisms are phase-coated and reflection-coated for maximum light transmission and the objective lenses feature Kowa Prominar ED (extra-low dispersion) glass. The Kowa BD II 8x42 has a broad field of view (429 feet at 1000 yards), close focuses to 6 feet, and has a 17mm eye relief.
