Owl Notes are short videos that provide insights into the field projects of Denver Holt and the Owl Research Institute (ORI) as presented by filmmaker Daniel J. Cox. It’s an opportunity for you to view some examples of the field work being conducted to benefit owls and learn more about their population trends. To begin with, Owl Notes provides 5 recently produced videos that show in impressive fashion what it’s like to study different species of owls in the field, featuring Great Gray Owls, Short-eared Owls, and Long-eared Owls to date, with more videos to follow.

Denver Holt has been studying owls for more than 30 years, and has led the charge with staff and volunteers at the Owl Research Institute, which has been centered near Charlo, Montana since 1988. Now you can join Denver in the field via video, and learn more about owls and owl studies as you view Owl Notes | owlresearchinstitute
