More April Birding Festivals

The attraction of seeing a variety of migrating birds will bring many birders to festival events across the country (American White Pelicans photographed by Paul Konrad).

Looking ahead, each weekend is filled with exciting birding events throughout spring, and here we feature another dozen birding festivals that take place during the last 2 weeks of April. They vary from single day events at a birding hotspot to the granddaddy of this selection of events, the month-long Georgia Bird Fest, which features more than 40 events taking place across the state. Other late April birding festivals are scheduled in Virginia, Utah, Colorado, Missouri, Alaska, California, New York, Arizona, and Texas – lots of fun for everyone!
