Last week, Canadian birders found 2 Wood Storks in Quebec that established a Third Provincial Record, while American birders documented a Wood Stork far beyond the species’ normal range in Massachusetts. The sighting of a Wilson’s Storm Petrel created an Eighth State Record for Washington, while other rare sightings included an Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Los Angeles, a Long-tailed Jaeger in Minnesota, a White Pelican in New Hampshire, and a Lark Bunting in Washington.
