Raptor Banding Begins at Cedar Grove, Wis. Facility

The Cedar Grove Ornithological Research Station in Cedar Grove, WI will be opening its 68th year of raptor banding on the 15th of August. Led by Master Bander Tom Meyer, the two interns and all volunteer staff will run the station until mid-November. Starting October first, we will open the nets 24-7 and start to band owls.

Although the station is too small to permit the general public to view the operation, we do appreciate the continued support of the local birding community with their many donations of food, time, money and help.
