Four PLJV ConocoPhillips Grants Support Wetland Habitat

The Playa Lakes Joint Venture (PLJV) Management Board awarded $88,000 in PLJV ConocoPhillips grants this year. All four of the funded projects will contribute to the conservation of bird habitat in the region through wetland habitat restoration, enhancement or preservation.

"This is the 26th year we have received funding from ConocoPhillips to award grants that support bird habitat within our region," says PLJV Deputy Director Bob McCready. "We continue to be amazed by the high quality and creativity displayed by the PLJV partners that submit habitat and research proposals. Across the board, the quality of this year's proposals was very high, making it easy to select outstanding projects."
