“Out Birding with Field Guides” Video Series

A colorful female Wilson’s Phalarope is among the diversity of birds you will see at the variety of birding adventure locations featured in the OutBirding with Field Guides series.

Are you among the throngs of birders who wish for television coverage of birding activities? One of the top birding travel companies, Field Guides, has initiated the next best thing – a fun, informational, and inspiring new video series, “OutBirding with Field Guides.” The variety of well-produced videos provide a great personal or family-oriented activity while birding travel is restrained during the pandemic period. Now you can virtually travel to Texas, New Jersey, Arizona, North Dakota, Mexico, Minnesota, and beyond with enjoyable Field Guides hosts.

Like cable TV and many online options, OutBirding is subscriber-based with pay-by-month, year, or lifetime options available. New videos are added at a rate of 3 or 4 per month, but there is already more than 8 hours of programing available for you to enjoy. Some of the interesting and insightful videos include Painted Buntings in the Texas hill country, the first White Ibis nesting in New Jersey, Eared Quetzals in southeast Arizona, Prairie Pothole birds in North Dakota, Montezuma Quail magic, and Boreal Forest birds, not to mention interesting interviews, recipes from the field, and much more. Each episode is hosted by enjoyable guides with a wealth of information to share.
