Project FeederWatch Free for 50 Classrooms

Project FeederWatch is a super way to create more enthusiasm among students regarding birds and nature and science. What student wouldn’t be excited by the appearance of a Pine Grosbeak?

Apply now: Children at 50 schools will be able to participate in Project FeederWatch free of charge during the next school season. Thanks to a generous gift from the family of Doris Waud, a longtime public school teacher and Project FeederWatch participant who was actively involved in the creating Classroom FeederWatch, which evolved into the K-12 Education program at the Cornell Lab. Applications are currently open for the 2022–23 Project FeederWatch season, so teachers are encouraged to fill out an application for Free participation by June 17.

If you are a teacher, or know of a teacher who might be interested in this exceptional opportunity – perhaps one of your childrens’ teachers or grandchildrens’ teachers – please share the information with them from Educational Resources - FeederWatch
