Young Birders Can Connect with Young Birders’ Clubs
Wednesday November 7, 2018   |
Young birders are joining together for field trips, birding programs and to share birding activities with people in their age group.

As more and more young people discover the exciting world of birding, clubs have formed to provide young birders with field trips, educational programs and networking opportunities in many states across the country. Maybe there is a young birders club near you, or perhaps a local adult birding club would be interested in starting a pilot program for young birders in your area. What could be more fun than sharing a field trip with other interested kids your own age, with adult guides to transport you and share outdoor experiences?

You can see what young birders are doing state by state and club by club across the nation at the American Birding Association’s “Connect with Other Young Birders” web page that features links to a kid’s birding club nearest to you at https://www.aba.org/connect-with-other-young-birders/
