Wild Bird Expo™ Session to discuss how
"Small is the Next BIG Thing in Retail!"

At the Wild Bird Expo™ on October 4th, Pamela N. Danziger, speaker, author and market researcher at Unity Marketing, will discuss how, "Small is the next big thing in retail." Brenda Wright, Show Manager, commented, "In addition to discussing proof that small business is alive and well, Pam will also discuss how to make birding and gift shops POP, leaning on research from her recent book, Shops that POP! 7 Steps to Extraordinary Retail Success ." Additional seminars will be held on business and birding topics by author, Stan Tekiela, web communication and marketing tips by results-oriented web marketing consultant, Diana Ratliff, and fellow store owners.

The Expo is held in Mexico, Missouri, October 3-5, 2017, and has grown an average of 30% yearly in attendance with retailers attending from 46 states, 6 Provinces of Canada, and England. When asked why the Expo is growing while other shows are declining, Show Manager Wright commented, "Our surveys show the top reasons are the seminars and share time events where retailers learn from each other. In addition, retailers have told us the fact that we provide (along with the assistance of our vendors): Free meals, lodging, refreshments, and transportation from the airport and around event sights, makes the trip worth their time." Wright continued, "This year approximately 130 wild bird and gift vendors will be participating with over 600 retailers attending."
