Dr. Stephen Kress to keynote:

Dr. Stephen Kress will be the keynote speaker at the Acadia Birding Festival on June 3, discussing Project Puffin and how his reintroduction of Atlantic Puffins onto Eastern Egg Rock in Maine has been used for other bird reintroduction projects around the world.

He serves as Director of the Seabird Restoration Program and Vice president for Bird Conservation of the National Audubon Society. He began Project Puffin in 1973 and has remained its Director since the beginning.
