San Diego Audubon is sponsoring a first for our chapter… a major photo competition, open to all, "focusing" exclusively on five endangered birds native to our region and benefitting from SDAS programs:

• California Least Tern
  
• Ridgway's Rail (Light-footed)
  
• Western Snowy Plover
  
• California Gnatcatcher
  
• Coastal Cactus Wren

Winners will be selected for each of these species as well as best of show and special categories. We will feature the winning images in the September 2015 issue of Sketches, present them on our website and stage a show of framed prints in the SDAS office. Selected images will be used in future print and electronic media created by SDAS. Entries can be submitted from April 1 - July 1, 2015. Click here for full information and entry form.
