David M. Zumbaugh is a freelance author, photographer and avid outdoorsman. He earned a BS and MS degree in Biology from Fort Hays State University. He serves as the Conservation/News Editor for the American Waterfowler Magazine and is a frequent contributor to various publications including Quail Forever, Wyoming Wildlife, Kansas Outdoors, Water N Woods and Sportsman's News. He supports the NWTF, Delta Waterfowl, DU, Pheasants Forever and the Kansas Wildscape Foundation. David is a member of both the Outdoor Writers Association of America and Outdoor Writers of Kansas and is on the Board of Directors for the Kansas Wildlife Federation.
