San Diego Audubon Camp Scholarship Application Deadline May 1

San Diego Audubon is pleased to announce the 2014 Curry-Kenaston Fund Scholarship to a San Diego Audubon Society member or an immediate family member to attend an Audubon nature camp (or approved similar camp), birding or nature-oriented educational course or event of choice.

The camp or course may fall generally within the environmental sciences and arts. Opportunities such as National Audubon Summer Camp at Hunt Hill or Hog Island, as well as day camps at many Audubon facilities nationwide are well regarded. If you are awarded the scholarship, you will be required to write a short article and provide a photo for our Sketches newsletter about your experience. Interested? ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a resident of San Diego County, California, and a U.S. Citizen.

Must be a San Diego Audubon Society member, spouse of member, or member's child.

Must be at least 14 years of age.

Must exhibit potential for successful completion of camping experience and travel.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 1, 2014 IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
