Birding Wire subscriber Debra Fischer of Fitchburg, Wis. used her Sony Cybershot to photograph this handsome Ring-necked Pheasant, partially hidden in the thick July marshland grasses of the 32,000-acre Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge near Mayville, Wis. "We don't get to see too many of these," Debra wrote,"but this guy showed up on the roadside."
