On open water across most of the country's mid-section, the month of January is prime-time for viewing Bald Eagles. Now through early February, novices and seasoned birders alike take part in special Eagle Day events from Kansas to Ohio, where they can view large numbers of one America's most magnificent-and inspiring-species.
